I love galaxies, it’s super fun to play with and that is the core of this card made with a fun stencil technique. In 2016 I was honoured to get a guest design spot for a post at the My Favorite Things blog. The post had the prompt stencil technique, and I went all out with this complex technique. And I have always felt that I didn’t make the prompt justice.
So I finally decided to do a remake of that card, and of course it need to have a fun stencil technique. When the stamp set is all about rockets and aliens, I just had to make a galaxy. But I really wanted to keep a lot of the white on the card and that was when I came up with the idea of adding the galaxy in the rays out from the rocket. And the card came together after that. Which card do you like the best, the now or the then?
