Cool Summer – Copic Coloring & Card Tutorial

Hi
It’s finally becoming summer here in Sweden, and at the moment this post goes live I will sit at my inlaws just enjoying the weather. But to celebrate summer I though I would use the super cute Miss Lilly Summer by Little Blue Button Stamps, which was a new release for June. I ventured out giving her a more sunburned skin and some beautiful blond hair. As usually I have a coordinating copic coloring and card tutorial video. Enjoy!:

A 60s Birthday Copic Coloring & Card Tutorial

Todays card is made with Miss Lilly Glasses, she got me thinking of the sixties so I paired her with some papers from the Bohemian Bamboo paper pad by Prima. I really love this little stamp, and as a extra little detail I put some glossy accents on her glasses to make them seem a little more real. As always there is a copic coloring and card tutorial video to go with it.

So, let’s get this Blog Hop going…

I have not one, not two but three cards for you. The first card I made with Taylah Sitting Wishing, she gave me such a sailor wibe that I just had to pair her with a couple of boats.

The second card is with Lotus Sitting, and her hair just screamed pink (has something to do with me having that same haircut and then my hair was pink!). I love coloring odd hair colours, and you must say it suits her.

For the last card I just had to color up Taylah again, now with some odd hair color too (I just couldn’t let her be left out). And again it’s a traveling themed card.

Thanks so much for hopping by. Your next stop is Kay. If you get lost, here’s the full Blog Hop…

Store Gallery Have Fun 🙂

You are original

Hi Guys!

My card and video this week is featuring the super cute “Sweet Geisha Charlie” by Little Blue Button Stamps, when I saw her I knew what paper I would use. I’ve been having the Bo Bunny Serenity 6×6 paper pad laying around for years and finally I had the perfect picture to go with it. A little colouring tip, looking through my copic markers I couldn’t find a perfect green or red to go with it, but by layering some bright colours on top of a dull one I got the perfect color. One of my favourite thing about the copics is that they are a bit transparent and there fore you can layer them to get new colors and get more out of the markers you have.

Copics:
Skin: E51, E53, E55
Hair: E43, E44, E47, E49
Greens: YR91, YR21, YR23, YR93
Reds: YR91, R24, R29, YR93

Excited For You!

So this weekend I’m going to a wedding, actually the first wedding I’m attending as an adult. And of course I need to have a card to go with the gift. When it comes to wedding images there is loads of them to choose from out there, but I already knew which one I needed. Make It Craftys “Geeky Love Kiss”. Not only is it adorable, but it actually looks like the cute couple who’s getting married!

Copics:
Skin: E000, E00, E21, E11, R20
Hair: YR20, YR21, YR23, E25, E27, E29

Love is everything – Card Tutorial

When I was playing with the stamp set from the Simon Says Stamp June 2014 Card Kit a couple of days ago, I decided that I wanted to do some coordinating notecards to go with the card I was making. They turned out so sweet so I thought they deserved their own post and video.

Fifi – Copic Coloring of Curly Hair

Hi Guys!
It all started with me wanting to get into doing more challenges, in the past I’ve been doing loads of them but for the last couple of months I just haven’t. When I found that Simon Says Stamp’s monday challenge this week is magic I knew exactly what I wanted to do, because there is nothing more magical than fairies, right? Well as it happens the challenge over at Make It Colourful this month (for the hard version) is curly hair and Zoe, the owner of Make It Crafty, encourage us to play with her stamps. So I’ve chosen to give the cute little fairy Fifi a big afro. And while I was at it I decided to make a video, showing you how I colour curly hair.

Copics:
Skin: E000, E00, E21, E11, R20
Hair: E23, E25, E27, E29
Dress: RV21, RV23, RV25, YG21, YG23, YG25

Coffee! – Copic Coloring & Card Tutorial

Hi guys!
One of my favorite things about being a DT is that you get to see all the new stamps way before everyone else, and this time it’s been extra hard not telling anybody about them. This month Olga is releasing loads of new designs, both as a designer for CC Designs but also both rubber and digis for her own brand Little Blue Button Stamps. For the rubber stamps she is launching a brand new range, starting with this awesome stamp set all about coffee and tea, and being a person that just don’t work without her coffee this stamp set where just up my ally. And with new further ado, here is my card and companion video

Copics:
Skin: E000, E00, E21, E11, R20
Hair: E51, E53, E55, E57
Dress: BG000, BG53, BG57
Jacket: E74, E77, E79

You Are My Favourite – Distress Ink Watercoloring Tutorial

Hi Guys!
I just completely love the new Simon Say Stamp Card Kit for the month of June. But right now I’m on a bright-color kick, so for todays card I’ve chosen to work only with the stampset, some distress ink pads and watercolor paper. It’s a simple card but I had loads of fun coming up with it.

All Boy – Card Tutorial Using A Sketch

Hey Guys!

I finally got some time playing with the Simon Says Stamp May 2014 Card Kit, even though I love the products I have had a hard time creating with it, mostly because I’m not good at male/boy cards. But when all other things fail I searched for some great sketches. And I found loads! The sketch I’m using this week is from Retro Sketches, #116.
