Hi Everyone! I told you this before but I love good challenges. Challenges makes me think outside the box and it makes me use my supplies in ways I hadn’t thought about before. Todays card is following the card sketch from the My Favourite Things Card Sketch Challenge 405, and instead of colouring I decided to create my focal image with stitches.

I’m an avid stitcher and I’ve owned the Cross Stitch Tag Die for a long time, and I finally got around to use it! I’m still in a very autumnal mood, but I decided to go a little bit softer with the colours and ended up with a more coral/latte design. By the way, not only is the cross stitch design a take-away coffee mug, the stamp sets I’m using for the sentiment topper is both coffee related and the brown card stock and ink is called latte!
When figuring out the cross stitch design I tried a couple of different patterns, and I thought maybe you wanted to use them? So I put together a little image here with four different design that you are free to use. I have added the thread colours I used below but with these kind of simple designs the fun is to just pick the colours you have in your stash and make the card up to match.
