Last Make It Crafty Blog Hop

It’s with tears in my eyes I’m writing this. Zoe is closing down Make It Crafty. Zoe took me under her wing and into her Design Team in 2013 and there I have stayed. She have taught me so much about coloring and she’s a big part of why I and how I evolved my crafting footprint here on the internet.

So today we are doing a last blog hop, to celebrate what has been. On every blog in the hop you can win a surprise gift from Zoe. On my blog I want you to tell me you favorite digi stamp you have gotten from the Make It Crafty store.

The card I have done for this blog post is made with the free with purchase fairies, that you will get with any purchase from the Make It Crafty store until it’s closed.

As with many of my cards, it’s simple and created to showcase the stamp more than anything. It’s an A2 card base, with a stitched rectangle out of latte cardstock. I cut out the snowflakes and the sentiment out of some white glitter cardstock and filled up the background. To make the fairy stand out a little bit extra I cut out a stitched hexagon in some vellum to put behind the fairy.

  1. What a lovely card, she looks so delicate. My favourite stamp is Annabelle and my favourite Christmas stamp is cheery Santa, but that was very hard to choose

  2. I love how delicately you’ve coloured her, she looks beautiful. Hmm my favourite MIC image, I would have said a little house but I think it has to be the portrait collection with Ginger, April and co I go back to them time and time again

  3. Nice card Marika! My favorite stamp is the Fairy Tree House. I was able to produce some nice replicas of Zoe’s coloring by watching the video she made. I later altered the colors but used all the techniques I learned from her.

  4. Once again a beautiful card from you ❤
My favourite MIC motif??? It is not possible to choose one sister from another… But, I think it must be the 60`s Girlfriend Collection.
Thank you Marika for all inspiration for years!!!

  5. I love the short dress and the long hair. All the fairies seem so delicate yet to regal with their face and hand positions. These 3 fairies are a lovely way to close MIC. I will miss seeing all the inspirational cards.

  6. Beautiful work. My all time favorite digi I ever got from Zoe was Summer Dreams. I have colored her a million times (well maybe 20) One of her Christmas collections might be my second best…

It’s impossible to mention only one favorite image, but I’m going to say Alwina the good witch. To me she’s a princess and I just love that gorgeous medieval dress.

  8. Marika your colouring is beautiful, so soft. You have asked the hardest question. I do love all her characters, but the flowers are beautiful, especially the Australian collection. So versatile and I am an Aussie too!

  13. Beautiful coloring. It is so hard to pick one favorite, there are so many. But I´ve used the Urban Collection the most. Love the roughness of it, but I also love to color hair and folds, so Fairest of All Princess must be a favorite.

My favorite digi stamp, well, all of them, but if I have to name one, the rose, I still have that one colored as background on my laptop!
