Progress On Wrath

Hi guys!

I usually just share finished projects here, but some projects takes years to finish, specially my cross stitch projects, and since June 2013 I’ve been stitching on my biggest cross stitch yet. It’s a Heaven and Earth Designs Design called Wrath, it’s a part of the seven sins series and is 240000 stitches big.
Well, a couple of days ago I reached a big milestone, the first row of pages was finished. So for once I thought I share the progress here.

The Amazing Foxi

Hi Guys! Here in Sweden it is sunny and warm, and I wanted the colours in my card to reflect that, and I also wanted to show one of my absolutely favourite stamps, Foxi Sprite by Make It Crafty. I just totally love her hair! It’s perfect for the Make It Colourful Challenge which is Shades of Blonde for the easy, (if you wanna try the hard one its Folds & Creases). Hope you have a wonderful, warm and sunny summer (or a bright winter as I heard it is in Australia).

Have a Picture Perfect Day

Today is the release day of the new Little Blue Button Stamps Rubber Stamp, Capture A Moment, and I have had the opportunity to play with it before hand (it’s awesome being a DT). And as it is a rubber stamp I thought I should do some paper piecing, I love paper piecing as I can get some really beautiful patterns I wouldn’t get any other way. But I hope you like my card and as always I have a copic colouring and card tutorial to match. And if you want to be a DT for Little Blue Button Stamps and get the opportunity to play with some not released stamps hop on over to the Little Blue Button Stamps blog as Olga is having a DT call, it is open until August 1st.

But to celebrate summer I though I would use the super cute Miss Lilly Summer by Little Blue Button Stamps, which was a new release for June. I ventured out giving her a more sunburned skin and some beautiful blond hair. As usually I have a coordinating copic coloring and card tutorial video. Enjoy!:

A 60s Birthday Copic Coloring & Card Tutorial

Todays card is made with Miss Lilly Glasses, she got me thinking of the sixties so I paired her with some papers from the Bohemian Bamboo paper pad by Prima. I really love this little stamp, and as a extra little detail I put some glossy accents on her glasses to make them seem a little more real. As always there is a copic coloring and card tutorial video to go with it.

So, let’s get this Blog Hop going…

I have not one, not two but three cards for you. The first card I made with Taylah Sitting Wishing, she gave me such a sailor wibe that I just had to pair her with a couple of boats.

The second card is with Lotus Sitting, and her hair just screamed pink (has something to do with me having that same haircut and then my hair was pink!). I love coloring odd hair colours, and you must say it suits her.

For the last card I just had to color up Taylah again, now with some odd hair color too (I just couldn’t let her be left out). And again it’s a traveling themed card.

Thanks so much for hopping by. Your next stop is Kay. If you get lost, here’s the full Blog Hop…

Store Gallery Have Fun 🙂

You are original

Hi Guys!

My card and video this week is featuring the super cute “Sweet Geisha Charlie” by Little Blue Button Stamps, when I saw her I knew what paper I would use. I’ve been having the Bo Bunny Serenity 6×6 paper pad laying around for years and finally I had the perfect picture to go with it. A little colouring tip, looking through my copic markers I couldn’t find a perfect green or red to go with it, but by layering some bright colours on top of a dull one I got the perfect color. One of my favourite thing about the copics is that they are a bit transparent and there fore you can layer them to get new colors and get more out of the markers you have.

Copics:
Skin: E51, E53, E55
Hair: E43, E44, E47, E49
Greens: YR91, YR21, YR23, YR93
Reds: YR91, R24, R29, YR93

When it comes to wedding images there is loads of them to choose from out there, but I already knew which one I needed. Make It Craftys “Geeky Love Kiss”. Not only is it adorable, but it actually looks like the cute couple who’s getting married!

Love is everything – Card Tutorial

When I was playing with the stamp set from the Simon Says Stamp June 2014 Card Kit a couple of days ago, I decided that I wanted to do some coordinating notecards to go with the card I was making. They turned out so sweet so I thought they deserved their own post and video.
