Where almost past Christmas, and I thought it was time to start making some other cards than Christmas cards, todays card is a caring one. I’ve used the lovely Miss Lilly Cupcake that is new in the January release and I paired her with some My Minds Eye My Girl papers and a sentiment from the Simon Says Stamp Happy Every Day stamp set., all to spread that happiness.

Sometimes you have an idea how your card is going to end up looking, but when you’re finished it looks completely different. This was one of those cards, I was thinking about pairing Sweet Chester by Little Miss Muffet Stamps with some lovely patterned paper, but then I was digging around for some matching cardstock and found this white wood grained cardstock from Simon Says Stamp that I’ve been meaning to use for months. I really love how clean and simple the card came out.

This month challenge over at Make It Colourful is Glistening Snow, and you know me I love a challenge. I more of a character colourist, so doing scenes is kind of out of my comfort zone, but I must say I love to challenge myself. I’m not so good at putting together scenes myself so I use the pre-made scenes from Make It Crafty, this is the Winter Cottage Scene.

For the past few weeks I have really been digging through my digi stash, I have so many cute images that I hadn’t used yet and I really wanted to have loads of cards this year so I could send cards to everyone. This cute digi is by Whiff Of Joy, this have been one of my favourite stamp companies for years, but for the past year I really haven’t used that many from them. The digi is called Henry Hugging Bauble and I just love him.

I continue to make my christmas cards, I have a few I need to send out this year. Todays stamp is Christmas Sophie by Little Blue Button Stamps. I combined that with one sheet of pattern paper from Fancy Pants Designs Merry Little Christmas 6 x 6 paper pack. I love these kind of papers that is a detailed background all in it self.

I’m completely in love with the stamps from Little Miss Muffet Stamps, Dexter is no exception. I think I’ve had him in my digi files since last year and I finally got to colour him. Todays card is actually a challenge card, the challenge over at Little Miss Muffet Challenges is CAS (Clean And Simple). The card might seem a bit busy with the paper and all, but it is as clean and simple as it gets with only one pattern paper and one sentiment and no embellishments.
