I’ve been bursting in the seams wanting to tell you some wonderful news! Well now I can! Back in December I was contacted by Christine from Create A Smile Stamps, and she asked me if I wanted to join the Create A Smile video team for 3 months, which I of course couldn’t say no to. Honestly I jumped around and it might have been some screams of joy. Well I’m starting out slowly and small, with a darling little “get well card” using the Doctor’s Helpers Stamp set.

It’s Saturday, gosh the weeks go fast! We are really closing up on valentines day so I thought I would share another love card today. I’m using the Little Miss Muffet Stamps stamp Zappa from the Polka Dot Pals series, which is one of my absolutely favourite stamp series ever, and Little Miss Muffet Stamps are coming out with new ones every month! This little girl/cat is adorable! And I also wanted to join the Simon Says Stamp challenges, the Monday one that is Love is in the air + Use red and the Wednesday one which is anything goes. Today is the fourth card in my valentine series, and today I have another one with not so typical colours. To be honest the reason for my paper choices was that I really, really wanted to colour that fox in bright oranges, and then I just felt he needed that woodgrain and some leaves. Btw today is the release for the February images from Little Blue Button Stamps, and that includes the image I used today, called Kimono Girl.

For the past few months I’ve been, due to health issues, struggling with my creativity. So right now I’m entering all the challenges I can find to get my creative juices flowing. Todays shaker tag and video is thanks to Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge, which is “Create with critters”, where I’m using the new mini stamp set stinking cute by Lawn Fawn and also thanks to the color throwdown challenge blog which have a colour combination challenge of aqua, pink and kraft.

Todays card is made with the Simon Says Stamp January Card Kit which I combined with the super adorable Polka Dot Pals Lirienne. I love how this kit contained so much goodies from Doodlebug Designs and how perfect all of the Little Miss Muffet Stamps go with them, it’s like they are best friends, which is why I enter this card in the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge with the theme of Best Friends.

So when I learned that this bi-weekly challenge over at lawnscapings was Watercolour I knew I wanted to play along, but I was a little bit divided, I have a little watercolour set I bought a couple of months ago that I still haven’t used, but I also just reorganized my distress inks. I ended up playing with the distress inks. I might have gotten a little bit carried away with my drops but I had loads of fun creating this.
