And while I’m talking about the Passionate Paper Creations And Friends Facebook group I must say that you should really check it out. They are all about teaching each other to colour, and these girls that is there is so awesome at what they do. Rhea, the girl behind the group (and the blog Passionate Paper Creations) is a wonderful and extremely talented girl and she is joined by her oh so talented friends. Heart Basket Sophie

Todays card is using the sweet Heart Basket Sophie, as I wanted the hearts in the image to stand out I choose to colour her dress in some natural browns, this also makes her standout a little from the strong background. I’ve also used a white signo pen to add that twinkle in her eyes and some dots on her headband and bow.

Birthday Fishes

There is time for another challenge over at Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog, this time it’s a sketch. Sketches are a wonderful tool for any card maker, and I love working out a card from them,as long as the sketch is visible you can add as much or as little to it. Todays card is very simple, as the image has a very soft colour scheme I needed the card behind it to be soft and simple so it doesn’t over power the image.

Kitty Hopper

Happy Monday Everybody!

I’ve had this little critter laying on my table for awhile, and when I saw that Simon Says Stamps Wednesday Challenge was All Creatures Great and Small I knew that he wanted to be on that card. The stamp is called Kitty Hopper and is by Some Odd Girl, I love the drawing style of her stamps specially the small critters. This card started out to be a standard A2 one but due to some maybe not so good decisions I had to preform some card surgery and it ended up being a square card, but I kind of like it. So thats go to show you shouldn’t be afraid of cutting a little into your cards. If you want to see my colouring and card process watch the video below.

Thinking of You – Valentines Edition

I’ve been playing around with the February Simon Says Stamp Card Kit, and having loads of fun, in this project I used the stamp set, the watercolour cardstock and the idea to use embossing powder (I didn’t use the clear that came in the kit, but instead I picket two shades of pink I had in my stash).
