I’m here with my second card and video for the Camp Create Challenges, this time it’s Awesome Ombre and I went full in doing the sentiment and background bot ombre. It was really fun and I love these huge sentiment dies, works perfectly on cards. I continue with my 4 1/4 by 4 1/4 inches cards and the same colour scheme.

Todays card was originally posted at the Little Miss Muffet Challenge Blog a couple of weeks ago, I finally got to edit the video for it and thought this would be a great day to upload it. The colour scheme for the card was taken from Simon Says Stamp Card Kit July 2016 and that was also what I used to put the card together with. The papers in the card kit have a water coloured look to them and I thought the softness would work great with Petronilla. And as usually when I work with a Polka Dot Pals character I added my own little face that I sketched in and then used Copic Multiliners to do the lineart with. Hope you enjoy the card.

Today I have something really exciting to tell you! I’m guesting for Some Odd Girl this month, and this is my first project using Bad Hair Day Sheep. I love Some Odd Girl and have for some time now, I love the cute and adorable stamps and I just have to have them all! And they are not only gorgeous they are very easy to colour, all the lines are there and all you have to do is follow them.
For todays card I have actually googled “sheep lots of wool” to get a reference on how to shade him/her, i think mine is a he. And the colouring is simple in the way that I only used warm greys and a little touch of pink. For the rest of the card I used my favourite technique, ink smoothching, you’ll be seeing loads of cards with this technique because it’s so much fun (and because I really need to put in an order for more pattern papers).

Sorry for disappearing on you like that, my lupus gotten worse so loads of joint pain and it takes me a little time to accept it. But I’m back, hopefully. This is a card I made a couple of weeks ago and shared over at the Passionate Paper Creations and Friends facebook page during the fun Make It Crafty weekend, but I never got to the part of editing the video. But here it is!
This card is made with another mermaid! This time I wanted to try out some new colour schemes for the tail, so I went onto google and just googled fishes, there is so many awesome fishes out there! I choose one that was a little more complex than that I usually have, where it was all about blending between the colour families. I tried out the combinations on a separate paper before committing, and I really love how it turned out.
This was a $1 digi during the weekend, Zoe does the $1 digi colour along over at the Make It Crafty facebook page, so if you haven’t joined the group you really should! There is always something fun going on!

Todays card came out of a want of using some of my distress inks that I haven’t used in awhile. I love making smootching backgrounds as they comes out differently everytime, I love trying to figure out what colours to use and watching the texture come to life just by smootching some cardstock into some ink. My favourite cardstock to use right now is the Canson Montval 300 gsm, it takes the ink in a different way and if you use small amounts of water with the ink you get this cool “dry” texture when smootching it.
Also I really wanted to use the little monster from Monster Party, so when I saw the Caught A Bug? Sentiment from Message In A Bottle stamp set I knew I just needed to trap him in a bottle, and have a bunch of his friends on the outside trying to help him out.

Todays card is for the Make It Crafty CAS Challenge, this is the last one some come and join in and make us go out with a bang! You have the opportunity to win a cardboard ferries wheel! (I actually have one myself laying on my craft table all ready to decorate and put together). Well the challenge this month is “Make It Move”, so get your creative juices flowing and if you want more inspiration head over to the Make It Crafty Challenge Post and look at my fellow DTs wonderful creations too, there is also where you enter.
My card for the challenge is a slider card, I have made my sliders myself but there is dies out there that can help you to do those nice canals. If you have pennies (or some kind of metallic circles in the same size) I would use those instead of the diecut circles I used as that weight in the coins will help your fishes to move better, sadly we son’t have that size of coins in sweden. Better late then never, this was supposed to go up on saturday but my lupus is messing with me again so things takes much more time than they should. Todays card is just using everything new, my new stamp from Little Miss Muffet Stamps, Polka Dot Pals Wilhemina which I combined with the Simon Says Stamp July Card Kit and a die from My Favorite Things Blueprints 28.
The tutorial of the day is all about stamping a background, a little about differenses in ink and colour choices.
I also enter the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge which this monday is flora or fauna.
