Christmas Fairy – Clean & Simple Card Tutorial

Hi Guys!

So sorry for disappearing on you like that, life just got a little to much for me and I needed a break to rethink and rest. Well I’m back and do I got videos for you!
We’ll start off with a cute Christmas fairy! This is Fairy Twinkles, she’s by Make It Crafty and she is just completely adorable! I’ve done creations with her before, but I thought coming back I would start with some comfort colouring. The card is as clean and simple as you can get, just a card base, the character and a sentiment. I love these sentiments by My Favourite Things as they are big and bold but still small enough to leave room for a focal image.

Cute Lil Angel – 30 Day Colouring Challenge Day 1

Hi guys!

Today is the first day of the 6th 30 Day Coloring Challenge hosted by Kathy Racoosin from http://www.thedailymarker.com/. I have entered all the previous 5 ones, never finished one tho so hoping to finish this one. I’m a little bit more organized this time around, I have a theme! I thought I would try to be coloring one Christmas/Holiday image every day to get ready for Christmas. Christmas Night

Hi!

All you card makers out there knows that Christmas is coming in a lightning speed, so it’s time to start with those Christmas cards so that you might get some sent out this year. So here is my first Christmas card of the season. Today I’m Guest Designing for Gerda Steiner Designs, I’ve been meaning to get some stamps from her for awhile as I’ve looked at Tara’s videos with them and the stamps are adorable! So when Gerda contacted me and asked if I wanted to play with her stamps I was over the moon. Btw how do you like my moon on the card? I personally just love how it came out.

For todays card I’ve played with Up On The Housetop, I wanted to make a very wintery card, and started with the background. For the background I used distress inks and and a mask and blended a background with blending tools. It turned out very soft so instead of going to my copics I decided to use my Polychromos to colour the images in. For more details on how you can see the video below.

Glowing Seaside – Chibi Lights

Hi Guys!

Do you have those days when you just seem to forget everything? Well that has been my week, I actually posted two videos this week, neither I blogged and only one went live on my channel. And none of them got blog posts, because I forgot. But here is the first one.

I finally got to play with my chibi lights! I’ve had these real cool electronic lights for card making by Chibitronics for sometime now, I just never had time to use them! Then Christine released this awesome stamps set called Glowing Seaside. It has a real cute angler fish (angler fishes are not really cute, but this is) which has a glowing little ball and then I decided that the jellyfish needed to glow too.

ODDtober!

Hi Guys!

So I some awesome news to share, you know how I guested for Some Odd Girl? Well they asked me to stay on as a regular! How fun isn’t that! And ODDtober being the first month I get to join in is even more fun!

So I missed the first challenge, but I’m going out strong in the second. The way to enter is to make a project for your choosen challenge (no combining, no backlinking, only new projects are valid to enter), you must use a Some Odd Girl stamp/cutfile, upload your project to your blog and then link your project on the Some Odd Girl Blog in the comments under the challenge post. Easy peacy!

For this week challenge is Let’s Party! So I made a birthday/party card with the adorable Party Crab, this card is tiny tiny but I had so much fun creating it, if you wonder how you can watch the video below.

Monster Urm – Halloween Series #6

Hi guys!

Have I told you lately that I love you? A couple of days ago my subscribe count over at youtube ticked over to 8000! It’s huge! I just want to say so much thank you to all of you, it’s you watching and sharing my videos that makes this possible. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Now back to the original schedule, that is a bit intense right now! Due to some changes in some design teams and some other things I will be posting double post all Thursdays through out the month of October. One of those reasons is that now we all in the Little Miss Muffet Stamps design team will be sharing our cards that is part of the Little Miss Muffet challenge blog on our own blogs at the same day as the challenge goes live. So if you are looking for my Little Miss Muffet Post you will find now find them on Thursdays instead of Saturdays.

Witchy Wanda

I’ve been eyeing Witchy Wanda for some time now, I did a project with her way back when, about 4 years or so when I started playing with alcohol markers, for a Make It Crafty challenge when Make It Crafty had their own forum where they hosted their challenges. And I’ve been wanting to revisit her as I know I can make a much better job now. Sadly I don’t have a photo of that project but here is my new version.

Autumn Fairy
